MedScribe EMR provides medical transcription, EMR/EHR support, medical scribe, billing, coding, revenue cycle management, scheduling, and related healthcare support services to healthcare professionals and organizations.

Our Services

MedScribe EMR provides healthcare support services based on the scope agreed with each client. Services may include medical transcription, EMR/EHR support, medical scribe services, billing and coding, RCM, patient appointment scheduling, and related administrative support. Service features, availability, and scope may change as our services evolve.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, using our services only for authorized purposes, protecting account credentials, and complying with applicable laws and professional requirements. Clients must not use our services for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities.

Healthcare Information and PHI

MedScribe EMR may handle Protected Health Information (PHI) while providing healthcare support services. PHI is handled only for authorized purposes and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements and contractual obligations. Where required, a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) will govern the handling of PHI and applicable HIPAA responsibilities.

Accounts and Access

Clients are responsible for keeping account information and login credentials accurate and secure. You must promptly report suspected unauthorized access or security issues. MedScribe EMR may restrict or suspend access when necessary to protect accounts, information, systems, clients, or comply with applicable requirements.

Confidentiality

MedScribe EMR treats client information, medical documentation, business records, and other non-public information as confidential. Confidential information will be used only for authorized business or service purposes and will be shared only when permitted by the client, applicable agreement, or law.

Payments and Billing

Clients agree to pay the fees stated in their service agreement or invoice. Payments are due according to the agreed payment terms. Clients are responsible for applicable taxes and any reasonable costs arising from overdue payments, where permitted by law.

Intellectual Property

MedScribe EMR owns or licenses the website, trademarks, software, designs, content, and service materials unless otherwise stated. Clients retain ownership of content they provide to us, subject to the rights needed to deliver the requested services. No MedScribe EMR content may be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.

Acceptable Use

You may use MedScribe EMR Transcription Services only for lawful and authorized purposes. You must not misuse our services, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with our systems, introduce harmful code, or use the services for fraudulent or illegal activities.

Third-Party Services

MedScribe EMR may use or connect with third-party platforms, software, integrations, or services. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or websites that we do not control.

Service Availability and Changes

Clients remain responsible for reviewing and approving clinical information and decisions. We do not guarantee that every service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from third-party technical issues.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MedScribe EMR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. We are also not responsible for losses caused by service interruptions, third-party systems, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Indemnification

Clients agree to protect and hold MedScribe EMR harmless from claims, losses, or expenses arising from their misuse of our services, violation of these Terms, unlawful activities, or failure to meet their responsibilities.

Termination

Either party may end a service relationship according to the applicable service agreement. MedScribe EMR may suspend or terminate access for serious violations, security concerns, non-payment, or unlawful use. Upon termination, applicable confidentiality, payment, intellectual property, and other obligations that are intended to continue will remain in effect.

Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to MedScribe EMR’s business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first try to resolve disputes through good-faith communication. Any unresolved dispute will be handled in a court or forum with appropriate jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms
